Movember er en velgørenhedsorganisation, som har foretagender i 20 lande, og derfor overholder vi en lang række myndighedskrav og regeringsvedtægter. Vi tager vores mange ansvar meget alvorligt og er engageret i bedste praksisniveauer angående gennemskuelighed, ansvarlighed og ledelse.
Lederskab og styringsstruktur
Movember ledes af en bestyrelse, som delegerer en del af deres arbejde til specialiserede komiteer for at sikre, at organisationen følger de højeste standarder.
Bestyrelsen for Movember Foundation
Bestyrelsen rolle er at sikre, at Movember opretholder de højeste standarder for præstation, styring, ansvarlighed, gennemskuelighed samt forholdet mellem udgifter og indsamling af penge. Bestyrelsen gennemgår årligt præstationen fra den administrerende direktør og direktøren for Programmes. Vores bestyrelse er baseret på folks færdigheder, dvs. at hvert enkelt medlem bidrager med et stort grundlag af ekspertise og erfaring.
I overensstemmelse med Movember fokus på minimale administrationsudgifter får ingen bestyrelsesmedlemmer løn for deres bestyrelsesstilling. De nedenstående bestyrelsesmedlemmer udgør også (i samme sammensætning) bestyrelsen for Movember Europa.
Chair
One of the original 30 Mo Bros from the first ever Movember, Nick has worked in central government for two state premiers and a prime minister. He currently serves as the Deputy Lord Mayor for the City of Melbourne and holds an executive role at the University of Melbourne. For over a decade, Nick served as a director of The Big Issue, Australia's most successful social enterprise and has been a director with Movember since 2013. In his role as chair, one of Nick's top priorities in 2021 is to improve diversity and inclusion within the organisation.
Non-Executive Director
After spending more than 25 years working with some of the most recognisable global sports and lifestyle brands, Simon is now a full-time non-executive director for both for-profit and not-for-profit organisations. He has been involved with Movember for a decade and has served on the board for the past five years, including a stint as interim CEO in 2019. Simon brings a wealth of commercial experience and a deep understanding of Movember’s mission, community and values.

Kellie has over 25 years’ experience working with some of the biggest brands in Australia, including ANZ, Seven Network, Melbourne and Olympic Parks and Pacific Magazines. She currently holds an executive role at Australian Unity, a member-owned health, wealth and care business. Kellie has more than 10 years’ experience on the board of global non-profits, including Red Cross and Make-A-Wish. Kellie brings her expertise in brand strategy, marketing, communication, issues management and fundraising.
Non-Executive Director
A strategy consultant with over 20 years’ experience, Damien specialises in working with governments and businesses to develop and implement their strategies in order to meet their health and care needs. A long-time Movember supporter (he grew his first Mo in 2008), Damien brings experience gained from helping to steer two highly respected not-for-profit organisations: Dietitians Australia and Skin Health Institute.
Non-Executive Director
With 20 years’ experience providing legal counsel for public and private companies across a variety of sectors, Linnsey brings her expertise in corporate governance, government affairs, risk management and international commercial transactions to Movember. She also has extensive experience supporting not-for-profit enterprises through her work with the Boardriders Foundation (formerly the Quiksilver Foundation) and the Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, which supports families experiencing financial strain due to a cancer diagnosis.
Non-Executive Director
Rob trained as a medical doctor, working as a clinician in rural Australia and throughout Africa before moving into public health, focusing on HIV/AIDS for the Victorian Department of Health, the World Health Organisation, the Burnet Centre and the Joint UN Program on AIDS (UNAIDS). He is currently Professor of Public Health at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. Rob has worked for numerous not-for-profit organisations including Save the Children Fund and Médecins Sans Frontières. He has a keen interest in the prevention of non-communicable diseases, health promotion and health inequalities. Rob has chaired the National Preventative Health Taskforce and the Federal Minister’s Men’s Health Reference Group — the only Federal body that has ever existed focusing on men’s health.

Deanna has 20 years’ experience in operations and transformation in Australia, UK, Asia and Africa, which has included holding a number of commercial and operations executive roles in mining, oil, gas, FMCG and retail. Deanna has also supported several not-for-profits including volunteering for 15 years at the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and she is currently a mentor for Kilfinan Australia, a cause-focused on building not-for-profit leadership capability.

Har tilsyn med implementeringen af Movember Foundations globale strategi for mænds sundhed. Præger prioriteringen af vores investeringsmuligheder i mandehelbredet gennem:
- Strategisk tankelederskab om muligheder og mangler på området vedrørende mænds sundhed og velvære
- Etablerer arbejdsgrupper, som trækker på landsspecifik eller lokal ekspertise
- Hjælper med design af og deltager i globale aktiviteter, hvor det vi lærer via vores om mænds sundhed deles.
