This year, Movember launched The Movember Institute of Men's Health, a groundbreaking initiative that saves lives and advances men’s health. The Institute will bring together leading experts to accelerate research, deepen our understanding of men's health issues, and develop real-world improvements in men's health. FIND OUT MORE

All prostate cancer treatments have sexual side effects, impacting quality of life, relationships and mental health. Together with the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), we're tackling these problems head-on, with resources, training, and toolkits designed to improve the standard of sexual health care for men with prostate cancer. We partnered with leading sports organisations and community clubs worldwide to improve men's health literacy, promote better help-seeking behaviours, and to strengthen mental health resilience among boys and men, through evidence-based initiatives and research. Prostate cancer clinical trials and research studies often happen in isolation, meaning data is contained to the country of origin, never reaching its full potential. That's why we're partnering with the University of Adelaide in Australia to develop a world-class database. These willanalyse tissue samples from thousands of men across the globe and identify biomarkers. Those insights help researchers develop strategies for clinicians to make better decisions about prostate cancer care. FIND OUT MORE
This year, we pledged a whopping AUD $59.5m to Indigenous Social and Emotional Wellbeing Initiatives across Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the USA. The programs aim to combat alarming health inequalities faced by Indigenous men around the world, through holistic community-driven approaches. FIND OUT MORE
Lu-PSMA is a groundbreaking treatment for men with advanced prostate cancer, which is extending lives and improving quality of life. Even better, a new Movember-funded study found this targeted therapy could also dramatically improve outcomes for patients in earlier stages of the disease, potentially playing a role in reducing the global burden of prostate cancer in the future. Gamers vs. Depression is a Movember-funded project run by psychologists based in the UK and Australia. It uses online gaming as a vehicle for promoting mental health literacy and better social connections among adolescent males. The aim is to train Psychological First Aiders and embed them within esports teams to provide social/peer-support, so young men can openly discuss challenges in a safe and supportive manner. We have supported groundbreaking research on how AI can accelerate personalised treatments for men with prostate cancer. This state-of-the art technology aims to assist men, families, and doctors, in having more informed conversations about treatment choices – opening up options that may match to the specific biology of their cancer. We’re proud to support the TIGER trial – a major international initiative involving research teams from the US, Europe and Australia. This trial seeks to better understand the biology and treatment options for men who have undergone chemotherapy for testicular cancer, but whose cancer has returned – a rare outcome of an already rare disease.
Last year, we celebrated a significant milestone: the recruitment of 420 men and boys from across the US, Europe and Australia. The trial is now in the “follow-up” phase, where we monitor how these guys fare with treatment over time. FIND OUT MORE
